You Are Worth More
I’m sharing a devotion over at Proverbs 31 Ministries today. I wanted to share this with you too. Here’s what I want you to know: You are worth more!
As a little girl, I never felt I was worth very much.
I always felt I wasn’t pretty enough, smart enough or good enough. I sensed my parents tolerated me but certainly didn’t delight in me. Read more…

Living in God’s Yes and Best
“I can do everything through him (Jesus) who gives me strength,” (Philippians 4:13 NIV).
Several years ago, my husband and I decided to go zip lining on the island of Kauai. After being jostled and tossed like ragdolls in the back of a retired army jeep, we finally made it to the top of the mountain from which we were going to zip down—risking life and limb I might add. Read more…
Seeing Your True Value
Do you remember the day you came to saving faith?
Perhaps you’re still considering a relationship with Jesus.
Perhaps you can’t even remember a time when you didn’t know Him.

When I think about how God brought me out of a home filled with alcohol, Read more…
Free to Start Anew

I’d Be Happy If…
My husband, Steve, loves golf. When a salesman invited him to be his guest on one of Charlotte’s most prestigious courses, he jumped at the chance. He plays mostly public courses, so this was a real treat.
As they drove their cart up to the sixth tee, Steve scanned the tree-lined fairway dressed in pink, purple, and fuchsia azaleas in full bloom. Read more…
