Every year I like to send out a piece that I wrote many years ago to help our family keep Christmas in proper perspective. I hope it blesses you and your family as well.

That is absolutely an amazing piece of writing Sharon. You are truly a blessed soul of God’s Love and wisdom. Much love to you in this Christmas season and always!!
Love this. It’s about keeping Christ in Christmas. Thanks for sharing.
This is just what I needed to read this morning … sigh … time to slow down, readjust my days … Thank you Sharon for the inspiration. I often try to inspire others, but find I fall short in heeding my own thoughts and feelings. May the peace of Christ be yours throughout this lovely, ‘inspirational’ holiday season …
Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful! Merry Christmas!
I know there are a lot of Mrs. Hendersons in the world, but are you the Mrs. Henderson from today’s (12/18) Proverbs 31 Devotional by Sharon Jaynes?
If yes, her story and your life, which reflected the love of Christ, brought tears and a desire to be used of God to be a part of others’ “But God Stories.”
Wow, this is just what I needed this morning and in this Christmas season. Thank you so much for sharing!!
This is beautiful, Sharon. Thank you!
Wow! What a great poem to keep in mind when busy with the extraneous details and festivities of the holiday season. Thanks, Sharon!
This is wonderful. Thank-you for putting Christmas in it’s right perspective by walking in 1Corinthians 13. Beautiful!!!
I love this, sometimes we get so lost in the excitement and festivities of Christmas and feel everything should be like a Hallmark movie so we forget the real joy, love and meaning of the Christmas season. Family , friends and loved ones need us this time of year. It’s a time of sorrow, depression, anxiety and selfishness for some during the Christmas season when it should be a joyful time.
We need to focus on helping others instead of the glam and glitter of superficial things.
Give the gift of love, open your home to those in need, give a gift that helps someone in need instead of a glittery box of meaningless.
Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas and may God bless you all. Remember to pray for the less fortunate and for salvation of those that are lost.
Such a wonderful reminder! Thank you!
All of this is soooo true! Thanks for sharing, Sharon 😉… Merry Christmas 🎄
I would love to share the 1 Corinthians 13 Christmas version on social media, would it be possible to get a version of this to share on social media?
