How easy it is to bake, decorate, and celebrate, forgetting that expressing our love for our family and others is the best gift of all. Jesus said if we love him we show it by obeying his commands, and love is on the top of the list. May you and your family have a Merry and blessed Christmas.

Sharon, thank you for sharing this! I also want to take a minute to thank you for another devo you wrote a few years ago during the Christmas Season. It was a fictional letter from Mary to Joseph. It was about a dream she had where she attended a birthday party celebrating Jesus. All the presents, decor,…and yet no one paid Jesus any attention. It was as if he wasn’t even there. I reread that devo every year, and every year it brings tears to my eyes. I can’t imagine how it must seem in the heavenly realm. Thank you for sharing you heart and gift of writing❤️
